Magheracloone Emerge In Tight Tussle

Magheracloone 2-21  Rock Sarsfields 4-13

Last year when Rock Sarsfields played Magheracloone they served up many thrilling encounters with top class football and when they met each other yesterday evening, Tuesday 24th April, in the GRM minor football league, it was another fascinating and memorable contest between two evenly matched teams.

Sadly, it was a pity that we were on the wrong side of a 2-21 to 4-13 score-line as Magheracloone certainly had to pull out all the stops to secure the victory. However, on the basis of their performance I imagine the team management will be quite pleased with the effort displayed from all the players as the lads worked extremely hard for each other and showed great team spirit.
