Support Your Club
Fund raising at any stage is a challenge but raising funds in the current economic clement is even harder. It is an ongoing struggle for the club to raise funds but your support through attendance at matches would be gratefully appreciated so please go along and cheer on your senior team and see a fine game of football.

“Club Maith” – Officer Training Programme
Jimmy McGeough, Paul McKeown, Tina Rooney, Seamus Tate and I attended an Officer Training Programme that took place last Saturday morning in St. Marcartan’s College, Monaghan. “Club Maith” is an accreditation scheme for clubs that encourages best practice, and recognizes the work being carried-out by GAA volunteers across the country. Members of Ulster Council delivered a number of training workshops that proved very useful and gave us good ideas on how to modernise the way we conduct our affairs within the club.
Physiotherapy Treatment
Just a reminder to all players that the club has put in place agreements with a number of approved Physiotherapy practices to act as the clubs physiotherapist. Any injured player should contact either Tom Daly, Cormac McFadden, Anthony Tate or Pauric Carroll to first report the injury and secondly to obtain a “Physiotherapy Authorisation Form”, which has to be presented to the club physiotherapist on the initial visit. This procedure will be ongoing during the year and it is in everybody’s best interest to ensure it is not abused and that it is implemented correctly.
Coaching Workshops
There is a coaching workshop entitled “Adapting fun games Gaelic, start – U12” and will take place on Monday 26th April in Cloghan between 7.30 – 9-30pm. If anyone is interested in attending these workshops please contact either our Youth Officer Martina McKeown or our Coaching Coordinator Pascal Smyth.
