Fund Raising Event – Monster Auction
The club will be holding a monster auction on Saturday 19th June in St. Mary’s Hall. If you wish to donate any items or goods to the auction please contact any member on the committee and they will be delighted to arrange collection. We will be calling on all club members and others to donate items / goods for the auction so please be generous. We would ask that all items should be in a good condition and in a good working order. The downturn in the economy has hit the income of the club hard and we hope you will lend your support to help raise funds for the club to ensure we can maintain services. Your support of this event would be gratefully appreciated.
Streamline Coaches Intermediate Football League
Our senior team continued their winning ways with a hard fought but richly deserved victory over a determined Currin team last Sunday evening on a score-line Currin 1-10 Rockcorry 2-11. While it may not off been vintage football, I have to say that every player gave their best and worked hard for each other. However, there were times during the game when we squandered a lot of opportunities and wasted a lot of possession. Improvements in this and a number of other areas will need to be achieved before we face Currin, in a couple of weeks, in the preliminary round of the Intermediate championship. Check out www.rockcorrygaa.ie for a full match report and action photographs of the Currin v Rockcorry game.

Go Games Blitz – Under 8’s
Last Saturday our under 8’s took part in the Go Games Blitzes. The club would like to extend their best wishes and a speedy recovery to Christopher Donnelly who picked up a nasty arm injury at the blitz.
