Social Night
The committee are currently finalising plans for the annual social and presentation night. Tickets will be on sale shortly and it is hoped that people within the community will turn out in large numbers to support the club as we get ready for the 2010 season. Watch this space for more details.
Juvenile Medal Presentation Night
In addition, we are also making arrangements to hold a night to present medals to a number of our juvenile teams. Please watch this space for more information.
HELP
The success of the club is built on the willingness of people to become involved. We are on the lookout for juvenile managers & coaches to help out with our underage teams. The club simply cannot operate without plenty of help and we are appealing to people especially parents to volunteer their services to help out with our juvenile teams. You do not have to be an expert and you will be instructed by an experienced coach, but please come forward and volunteer. You may be able to spare one hour on a Saturday morning or one evening per week to supervise at training sessions, or maybe at a game. Whatever you can do please do come forward and offer your help as we need as many people as possible. You never know you may enjoy it and your children will certainly benefit from it.
Top 4 Lotto Results
The numbers drawn on Monday 11th January were 1, 5, 15 and 19. There was no jackpot winner of €1,300.00. The following won €15 each :-Brendan Reilly Newbliss, John James McPhilips Rockccorry, Cecilia Thompson Newbliss, Mark McCormick Rockcorry, Aidan Sheridan Aghabog, John Bradford Rockcorry, Monaghan Family Ballybay and Martin Carroll Rockcorry. Next weeks jackpot will be €1,400.00 and the draw will take place in Thompson’s, Newbliss. Thank you supporting our Top 4 lotto draw.
Annual Top 4 Lotto Ticket
We will shortly be launching our annual Top 4 lotto ticket for the 2010 season. You can now support the club’s Top 4 lotto by entering either for a 12 month, 6 month or a 3 month period. To play simply select your four numbers between 1 and 28 complete the form and you need never miss a draw again! Tickets cost €90 for the 12 month option, so there is a great incentive to play. The annual ticket holders had a great run during last years lotto draws and we encourage all of our ex members and community to play and support the club’s Top 4 lotto. Your continued support is always much appreciated and we wish you good luck in future draws.
Club Membership
It’s that time of year again for renewal of club membership. The fee is €25 for adults and €5 for under 18’s. Club membership can be paid to club Registrar Stephen Lynch. With the new football season approaching all players should pay their membership as soon as possible otherwise you will not be covered under the GAA insurance scheme.
