Another busy week of club action

So another week of competitive action has passed us by and again it brought a mixed bag of results.

The U11’s were back on the field in Pairc Mhuire on Wednesday evening past when they welcomed Clones in the Spring league. Again a highly entertaining game ensued with the St. Tiernachs side taking the spoils.

The reserves had been due to meet Oram on the same evening but the game was postponed following the passing of Big Tom Mc Bride and we at the club extend our sympathies to the family and Friends of Big Tom and also the Oram GAA club.

Our U15’s were also at home on Thursday evening when Killanny paid a visit, and again it was the visitors who prevailed taking the Division 4 points back up to the south of the county.

It wasn’t all competitive football as the U7’s and U9’s travelled to Latton on Saturday morning for a double blitz. Playing in the mini heatwave which could be the summer of 2018, the 2 panels excelled themselves with a number of players pulling on the club jersey for the first time.

The blitz activities of the underage players inspired our U13’s who then recorded a win over Eire Og and that was followed by the senior side claiming the 2 points in the Junior league with a victory over Corduff.
