Come Dine For Rock – Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!!!
Just a quick reminder to everyone that our “Come Dine for Rock” night takes place this Saturday 3rd December and I hope over the last couple of weeks you have been practicing your hosting skills and perfected your dinner party menu. Whether you’re cooking an elegant summer dish like Monkfish with a Mediterranean salsa or during these wet and miserable winter evenings you would prefer a hearty comfort dish such as chorizo & chickpea soup or simply indulging yourself with a large bowl of crisp profiteroles with crème pâtissiere filling and a rich, silky chocolate sauce (ohhhh pure heaven) the choice is yours. I understand that a number of groups have already held their dinner parties and have set an astonishingly high standard by dazzling their guests with their culinary prowess and once again many thanks for your efforts and contribution. Let’s face it folks, what could be more fun than inviting close friends and family over to enjoy a delicious meal in comfortable and elegant surroundings while enjoying a glass, or two, of your favourite beverage? If you’re interested in eating good food (and let’s face it who isn’t?) and having a laugh with your guests then make sure you get involved and host a “Come Dine for Rock” night. All we ask is that you ask your guests to make a donation of a minimum €10 towards the club fund raising campaign and let’s be honest €10 wouldn’t go too far in any restaurant these days! Later Saturday night, all hosts and guests are invited to get together to dance the night away in the Maple Bar, Rockcorry. Finally, I will be available to call round and take a group photograph of your evening so please give me a call on 086-1041165 or alternatively you can take a photograph yourself and email it to rockcorrygaa@live.ie.

Come Dine For Rock
Our “Come Dine for Rock” night has now been fixed for Saturday 3rd December. I hear on the grapevine that a number of people have already hosted their evening with remarkable success and on behalf of the club many thanks for your effort and contribution. I also heard that some hosts incorporated a game of cards as part of their evening’s entertainment which is certainly a very good idea. Can I just point out that if Saturday 3rd December does not particularly suit you then by all means hold it on a night that is convenient to you and your guests. As previously advised whatever date you decide, whatever you decide to cook and whatever you decide for the evening’s entertainment is entirely up to you, you are the boss!
